Second address: dkoldschool.net, and a launcher that uses both

Since 27 October the address dkoldschool.com has been blocked at its registrar, which is why the website and the normal game login stopped working by name. We now have a second address, dkoldschool.net, and everything answers there as well: the website at www.dkoldschool.net, downloads at dl.dkoldschool.net, and the game at play.dkoldschool.net. Both names stay; when dkoldschool.com returns, it works again next to the new one.

New launcher (28 October)

• The launcher tries dkoldschool.com first and then dkoldschool.net, for updates, the game server and the news box, and shows whichever site name works. Nothing redirects between the two.
• The sign-up button in the game opens the site name that works.
• Crash reports now record where a crash started, which helps us find the crash some Chinese and Korean players get when entering the world.

If you already have the game

Your launcher only knows the old update address, so it cannot fetch this update by itself while dkoldschool.com is down. One-time fix:
1. Close the game and the launcher.
2. Download update.txt from the Discord #announcements post and put it in your game folder's launcher folder, replacing the old one.
3. Start DarkEden Launcher.exe. It updates itself from dkoldschool.net and restarts.
If you added yesterday's routes.txt, the update replaces it; nothing else to do. Once dkoldschool.com is back, players who skipped this get the update automatically.

New players

Install from the download page here, then do the update.txt step above once. New installers with this built in follow later today.
