Halloween weekend: the Ousters, the Wild Hunt, and double experience under level 20
This is a Halloween event only. The Ousters are NOT coming back to the game as a race: the Ouster-look monsters arrive on 30 October, they are gone on 8 November, and nothing else in the game changes.
Double experience under level 20
From Friday 30 October 12:00 UK time (13:00 Europe, 21:00 Korea) until Monday 2 November 12:00 UK time (21:00 Korea), every character under level 20 gets double experience. A good weekend to start a new character or bring a low one up; hourglasses stack on top.
The Ousters overrun Perona NW
From Friday 20:00 Korea time (11:00 UK) until Sunday 8 November. Ousters of level 3 to 15 fill the map, and ten Ouster leaders hold a camp at the top: Hecate and Morrigan (level 30), Lilith and Carmilla (level 40) and six more at level 40.
- The leaders leave you alone until you hit them or earn their attention: every 25 Ousters your party kills brings Hecate and Morrigan down after you, 50 brings Lilith and Carmilla as well, and at 100 every leader on the map is hunting you. They teleport, they dash, and they go for the strongest character in sight. Die, and the hunt is over, but your count starts again.
- Every other map has an Ousters Warden roaming it, as strong as the map's own monsters, with the leaders' skills.
- Leaders and Wardens drop hourglasses (double experience for 10, 30 or 60 minutes); the leaders only pay when they die on a hunt.
- Type \*halloween in the game for the ranking: most leader kills, most Ouster kills, and Slayers against Vampires. Prizes for the top of the ranking will be announced here.
The Wild Hunt rides
Through the weekend, every three hours, a party of five riders appears on one of the busiest maps and rides from map to map for an hour.
- The Slayer hunt: a blade, a sword, a gunner, an enchanter and a healer on motorcycles. It kills the monsters and any Vampire it finds.
- Three hours later the Vampire hunt: five vampires with the master flame. It kills the monsters and any Slayer.
- The riders are as strong as the map they ride on, a little stronger than its monsters, and they leave characters far below their level alone.
- Kill a rider and it drops an hourglass (30 or 60 minutes). The whole server hears where the Hunt rides, who it has slain, and who slew a rider. Type \*wildhunt ranking for the hunters and the hunted.
